Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

First of all:

Not all mods suck there.
Admin is pretty cool, Titak is pretty cool dude, too, and there are probably few more.

Now onto our subject:

This journal entry was inspired by the recent banning of TRDaz. Forever.

Now, one of the reasons he thinks he was banned was because he was discussing with Runa about making a new TRF forum in private chat.
This obviously mean we have a problem with moderators.
Now, instead of mods coming to us and discussing with us what's wrong with their moderation and discussing it like adults, they decide to ban people like fucking babies.
This obviously means that they can't take criticism, and I lost respect for them right there.
But then comes Love2Raid saying that it was apperently a "rule" of not talking about making a forum or something...
Which is still fucking stupid because almost nobody I know knows about this rule.
Which also brings another point. They could've just warn Daz about it and he would stop.
But no! Banhammer immediately.

Not to mention that TRDaz was operating the modding competition, which now can be thrown in garbage because he is not active on TRF now.

I remember Teeth being banned for pretty much the exact same thing. Certain people can get away with pretty much anything (I had a warning for the exact same crime here, and all I did was try to start a wiki that could be used to pool info on the Level Editor) but if the mod has a chip on their shoulder, and an axe to grind, they'll target anybody and use unjust punishments. In this case, the punishment far outweighs the crime, and it has the impact of not only making certain members leave, but now it's going to generate negative publicity for TRF.

I'm starting to wonder if both Teeth and George Macavier were right about the other TR forums all along - he was right about trle.net.

Truth is, they don't want to lose traffic to their precious TRF. But in so doing, they're having the opposite effect.

But I kinda doubt they will lose a LOT of traffic, since a few dozen of member joins in for the news on TR 2013, actually.
But I do realize most of members join in to do a specific request for a model or to get help on something.
So yeah, I can see the traffic decreasing.
